Job Details | To be eligible for consideration, applicants must possess the experience & education listed below: Provide drafting/illustrator expertise for Computer Aided Design Drafting (CADD) in support of operation & maintenance (O&M) of the Alaska Radar System (ARS) Project. Supports Project Support Manager with development & submittal of various Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs). Assist engineers in the preparation of engineering drawings in conjunction with the formulation & development of over & above (O&A) proposals, work estimates & other projects; support Operations Facilities & Environmental with as-built drawings & other graphic & reproduction services. Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate with engineering personnel to prepare CADD generated drawings, as-built drawings, partial site plans, related schedules & documentation for O&M & O&A functions; verify changes, updates drawings, & create maps as required to produce various CDRLs for submittal to the Air Force; convert CSIR drawings from various formats to a standard AutoCAD drawing file for transmission to the Air Force; maintain the ARS drawing library; reproduce hard copies of drawings & as-builts; recover & transmit digital files as requested; maintain an index of digitally archived files of record & Engineering drawings; save files to the CADD computer with routine hard drive backup; prepare CADD developed signs, covers, visual aids & graphic materials to support the ARS Project using AutoCAD & Microsoft graphic programs; become familiar with & comply with ARCTEC Alaska Operating Instructions, personnel policies & other written guidance.
