Job DetailsSummary/General Description of Job: The Tool and Parts Attendant maintains inventory assets through standard asset management practices. Plan and efficiently stores goods and materials in bens, shelves, and pallets. Receives, issues and reconciles inventory through asset management program(s), as well as physically distributes and receives of supplies to meet the needs of the contract.

Essential Duties & Job Functions: Efficiently operates the Maximo Property Management system duties that interface with other key users in the same system; works towards implementing the new (CHAMP) Chugach Asset Management Program, as directed by management; performs a variety of procurement duties requiring an understanding of government supply system , programs, policies, work methods, and other established guidelines; provides information relevant to expediting and current status of supply transaction, including coordination with department supervisors/leads on overdue material(s), tracking the material(s) to expedite anticipated receipt date or to establish a revised delivery date, and updating all applicable reports; coordinates with trades personnel in the identification of proper and correct materials, parts, assemblies, and requirements for a variety of requisitions; locates materials, parts assemblies, and identifies vendor(s) based on availability of the item(s) of item(s) and pricing; pick-up and deliver supplies and required; update inventory databases after all supply transactions.

 Mandatory Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; three (3) years supply, warehouse, and procurement experience; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word), and warehouse database systems; maintain valid state drivers license with an acceptable driving record; the ability to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) or the ability to obtain or maintain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level, as applicable to the position requirement; ability to successfully pass any employment background check and/or drug testing required on the contract.

Preferred: previous experience working on a military installation; previous experience working with Maximo software for property management, inventory control, and procurement.
