Experience requirements and specialized skills: Must be able to perform maintenance on wheeled commercial trailer chassis, industrial, equipment, automotive, engines, special purpose and material handling equipment; must be able to perform maintenance on light and medium duty equipment; troubleshoot defects and malfunctions and determine the type or extent of the repair; must be able to preform technical inspections of equipment and determine the scope of the repair; perform welder duties using electric and wire fed acetylene and or inert gas-shielded welding processes; preform body and fender related repairs; perform vehicle and chassis prep work for painting; must be able to modify, fabricate and install equipment.
