| Job Details | Required Qualifications: 23 years or older, must be able to ready and speak English sufficiently to converse with general public and comprehend DOT & OSHA regulations. No serious moving violations (excessive speeding over 15 mph) or DUI in the previous 5 years. Three plus years winter driving experience in a tractor trailer. Must have a valid Alaska Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (X) and valid DOT medical card. Must be able to pass substance abuse screening. Preferred Qualifications: Tanker/Chemical experience, doubles/triples (T) endorsement/Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) Certification, TWIC Card. Summary of job: Drives tractor-trailer to transport vans, tankers, flatbeds, lowboys, reefers on public roads or highways, from various locations to the customer (s). Must be able to drop and spot trailers on varied terrains. A complete job description is available in the Fairbanks Dispatch office.
