Freight/Line Haul
Line haul trucking in Alaska presents unique opportunities and challenges. It is some of the most dramatic and wild landscapes in North America. North of Fairbanks, the Dalton highway, known as the (Haul Road), is a single ribbon of roadway connecting the north slope to the rest of the world, which we need skilled drivers to navigate. There are periods of constant daylight in the summer and days when the sun won’t crest the horizon in the winter. Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay is about 850 miles. The work will be containerized freight and flatbeds. The loads will be prepped for moves, but drivers should be prepared to work outside in inclement weather to secure loads on occasion.
