Required Qualifications:  Must have a valid Alaska Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (X) and valid DOT medical card.  Must be able to pass substance abuse screening. Must be at least 23 years old or older, must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with general public and comprehend DOT & OSHA regulations. No serious moving violations (excessive speeding over 15 mph) or DUI in the previous 5 years.  Three plus years winter driving experience in a tractor trailer.

Preferred Qualifications: Tanker/Chemical experience, doubles/triples (T) endorsement/Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) Certification, TWIC Card.  Must be able to drop and spot trailers on varied terrains. Must be able to back trailers in and out of receiving docks and service bays. A complete job description is available in the Fairbanks Dispatch office.
