Celebrating 40 Years
Our 40th Annual Jesse L. Carr Charity Golf Tournament was held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Anchorage Golf Course.
What a great day we had at the JLC! We had a full and inclusive tournament with two divisions, Corporate & Open, providing more chances to win! Our fantastic raffle, full of outstanding prizes, was a huge success, raising even more money for Alaska charities! Speaking of charities, we honored two very important 501 (c)(3) organizations during our awards banquet, Katie’s Handprint & the Scotty Gomez Foundation.♥ The day wrapped up with announcing each division’s winners (1st – 5th place) and handing out prizes.
We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of Teamsters Local 959’s membership, allied businesses statewide, and our community friends. Their exceptional generosity, spanning financial contributions, dedicated time, and efforts, has played a pivotal role in enriching the quality of life for all Alaskans. Together, they support local charities, making a profound difference in our great state and by doing so, have helped improve the quality of life for all Alaskans. Without you, this wonderful event would not be possible. THANK YOU!!! Being able to share this day, this challenge, with all of the wonderful, like-minded people who come out and contribute & play every year and have fun doing it is the greatest reward😊
