John Marton

Arbitrations & Negotiations

John was originally hired on with Local 959 in 1996 in the position of Arbitrations/Negotiations. Immediately prior to that, he worked for ASEA local 52 in the Anchorage office as a Field Representative. Prior to working for APEA/AFT in Anchorage as a Field Representative, he worked for H.E.R.E. Local 878 as a Business Representative.

Since being employed at Teamsters Local 959 he has been primarily assigned to handling arbitrations, negotiations, and unfair labor practice charge cases in both the private and public sectors. When hired, he owned and drove an Oldsmobile Bravada. He still has a Bravada although a different one than when he was first hired.
