| Job Details | Position Summary: This is a seasonal position at Denali National Park (approx May – Sept). The Denali Natural History Tour is a 4.5 to 5 hour tour, usually one tour a day can be expected, sometimes two. The driver is responsible for providing a safe and comfortable tour experience into Denali National Park while also providing a compelling narrative centering on the natural and cultural history of Denali National Park. Frequent driving within a congested tourist environment is required. Occasional transportation along a major state highway and driving in a city setting may be required. A professional level of customer service to all visitors is required. Extensive interpretive training is provided at the beginning of the season, along with ongoing coaching as needed. Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid Class B (or A) CDL with Passenger Endorsement and no Air Brake Restriction and have at least three years of CDL driving experience. Current medical examiner certificate is required, along with current certification in First Aid (standard or higher) and CPR. Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the last 3 years and must be able to pass MVR check. Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and participate in a DOT random testing program.
