Job DetailsMain Duties & Responsibilities: The Dues Account Representative/Administrative Assistant performs a vital role within the due’s office. This position is responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to the following: creating, maintaining, and reconciling member accounts; collection on past due accounts; accepts and posts payments to member accounts; must balance their daily cash drawer, and credit card balances accurately; perform data entry in Union database, and reconcile employer reports accurately; review and answer correspondence; answer inquiries related to the daily operation of the office, and services provided; and manage multi-line phone system, respond to and resolve complex member calls, attend and transcribe monthly meeting minutes, maintain electronic and paper filing systems and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills: The successful applicant must have prior office experience; be proficient with Microsoft Office Programs; must be able to accurately handle and receive payments; must  have  excellent customer service and organizational skills; the ability to successfully manage their time; must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage changing tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail; must have a positive work attitude; being dependable, and the ability to  arrive at  work on time is an essential job function; and must have reliable transportation, and a clean criminal record.

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED (2 year degree preferred);

This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm, some overtime may be required. Interested applicants should contact the Anchorage Dispatch office. The position will remain open until filled.
