Job Details | Full time position, 45 hours per week. Duties and Responsibilities: • Installation of conduit; installation and termination of general purpose power and lighting circuits, and mineral insulated cables. • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and corrects electrical problems in production and support equipment. • Install, remove, repair, overhaul, and test electrical equipment. • Perform installation, removal and repair of switchgear, transformers, starters, controllers, capacitors, etc. • Read electrical and related blueprints. • Work to meet current electrical codes and company policy and practices. Skills & Qualifications: • Individual shall be familiar with the installation of Motor Control Centers, Programmable Logic Controllers, and Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems. • Previous experience with the use of low, medium, & high voltage testing equipment, such as Fluke multi meters, and Meggers is recommended. • Dragline electrical experience is a plus. Expectations: • A Journeyman Electrician with 2 or more years of industrial experience. • Must be able to work independently and have experience in a mining environment. • Must pass a post-offer physical and drug test. • Have or will obtain an MSHA Surface Coal Mining Electrical Certification green card within 120 days of date of hire as a condition of employment.
