Job DetailsThe Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work orders are completed to an acceptable level in a timely manner. Also assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. Job Duties: Assist in the planning, Scheduling, and oversight of maintenance projects and preventative maintenance programs, demonstrating a continuous effort to improve operations and decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly with the maintenance department and management; train and assist maintenance personnel to perform maintenance work in compliance with established time perimeters; review work in progress to ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, base requirements, and state laws; participate in an on-call emergency schedule for evening, weekend and holiday coverage. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; valid AK driver’s license; ability to be insured by company’s auto insurance; more than 2 years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance, building construction or the following trades, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, or auto mechanics preferred; ability to understand and execute and oral and written instructions; ability to work independently and willingness to lean.
