Job Details | This is a part-time position working weekends form 1300(1:00pm) to 2100(9:00pm), and all holidays. Position Summary: Operates communication equipment to receive incoming calls for assistance and dispatches personnel and equipment as needed to support maintenance and repair requirements. Monitors all alarms and directs response in the event of out-of-range conditions. Responsibilities: Operates telephone console to receive incoming calls for assistance; question caller to determine nature of problem and type and number of personnel and equipment needed, follow established guidelines; monitors alarms for all available building controls and life safety monitoring systems; operate two-way radio to communicate with maintenance personnel; other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence, ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
