Job Details | This is a full-time position; work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Work Order Clerk performs various administrative functions. He/she is often the first point of contact when tenants report a work order and must possess at all times a professional attitude. He/she also interacts with vendors & occasionally the AF. He/she continually strives to increase his/her working knowledge of the property. He/she is to conduct business in a manner that attracts & retains resident by performing all duties assigned. This position involves, but not limited to answering phones, data entry, record keeping, filing, customer service. Job Duties & Essential Functions: Proficient and comfortable with all aspects of the home maintenance process, provide meaningful and relevant information to tenants by phone or email; responsible for vendor and tenant follow-up, call backs, resolving and rescheduling pending work orders; responsible for maintaining accurate tenant accounts and unit files, to include heavy amounts if data entry in computers to include but not limited to entering and updating tenant/unit information; complete all company forms governing and documenting work order scheduling, completion, and follow up as appropriate; general customer service duties to include but not limited to answering telephones, assisting with maintenance processes and maintenance work order scheduling, answering question, and assisting tenants and venders. Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid AK driver’s license, ability to be insured by company’s auto insurance, twelve (12) months general office experience or customer service experience. Must possess excellent computer software skills, including Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook & web-based programs. Experience in a residential rental office is highly desirable.
