| Job Details | PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the following equipment as assigned in accordance with operating instructions; AN/FPS-117 radar systems; signal and multi-channel ground-air-ground (GAG) radios in the ultra-high frequency/very high frequency (UHF/VHF) rages; Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS), and other weather equipment; telephone systems; computer systems; public address systems ; supervisory control access data acquisition (SCADA) systems; perform site logistics requirements, tracking requisitions; breaking down and inventorying materials upon receipt; preparing materials for shipment; documenting materials shipped including hazardous and dangerous goods documentation. CORE QUALIFICATIONS: Successful completion of a recognized course in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar program of study from a recognized technical/vocational school. Successful completion of the FPS-117 Level 1 Radar Course; FCC General Radio Operator License (GROL); ability to speak, read & write English proficiently enough to complete all employment duties; demonstrated ability in military supply system; military & commercial air transport & shipment of materials & preparation, handling & receipt of materials; must have strong problem solving & effective verbal & written communication skills; must be able to work constructively with co-workers & customer representatives; must have strong organizational skills & the ability to work independently; possess a valid state operator’s license; must have working knowledge of computers & typical applications including word processing (MS Word) spreadsheets (MS Excel) & database (MS Access); current CPR & First Aid certificates, must be able to obtain a security clearance at the SECRET level; must be able to lift 50 lbs.; must be able to travel in small aircraft & must be prepared to remain overnight in small villages in substandard accommodations. In addition to the qualifications listed above, assistance might be required in performing food service duties such as preparing meals; safe food handling and storage practices and manage site laundry requirements. Therefore applicants must also have formal training and/or demonstrated ability in the area of food services including menu planning & meal preparation for groups of 10 or more and a Food Handler’s certification.
