| Job Details | The Truck Driver/Warehouse Specialist is responsible for loading all supplies, and other items on trucks & making deliveries to units or schools according to a prescribed schedule. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum two years experience in truck driving, delivery & warehouse work, work experience must evidence ability to perform tasks assigned; valid AK CDL class B license & air brake endorsement; must obtain a food handler’s card within two weeks of employment; ability to operate various size trucks skillfully and safely; ability to load & unload delivery trucks involving use of hand trucks, electric & manual pallet jacks and on & off power lift gates. Involves extensive walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, stacking, securing of loads & use of power lift gates. Preferred requirements: Ability to perform non-technical service to trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment; ability to become knowledgeable of assigned routes and locations on individual delivery schedules. Essential Job Functions: Load all food supplies and related items on trucks and make deliveries to schools or units according to a prescribed schedule; assists in warehouse duties such as filling requisitions, sorting, packing, loading and unloading items.
