Job Details | Position Summary: Install and/or repair electrical systems, apparatus, electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. Responsibilities: Preform preventive maintenance on all identified real property equipment, to include automatic transfer switches, transformers, motor control centers, breakers, generators and similar equipment as scheduled through the DLMSS maintenance management program; install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as conveyors and programmable controllers; connect power supply wires to machines and equipment; diagnose and repair or replace faulty electrical components; plan layout and install wiring, conduit, and electrical components; diagnoses and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Qualifications and Experience: Journeyman Electrician; two year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
