Job Details | Position Summary: Operates communication equipment to receive incoming calls for assistance and dispatches personnel and equipment as needed to support maintenance and repair requirements. Monitors all alarms and directs response in the event of out-of-rand conditions. Responsibilities: Creates schedules for all Communication Center employees; operates telephone console to receive incoming calls for assistance following established guidelines; monitors alarms for all available building controls and life safety monitoring systems; operate two-way radio to communicate with maintenance personnel; assists ACMM with scheduling technicians and assigning work orders. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence, ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
