Essential Duties: Repair, rebuild or overhaul major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors; perform generalized maintenance on equipment as required; diagnose the source of trouble and determine the extent of the repairs required; serves as fuel/re-supply Barge augmentee; perform snow removal duties as needed; perform duties for the Emergency Response Team as required.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; successful completion of a formal Motor Vehicle Mechanic apprenticeship or combination o equivalent training and equivalent training and experience may be substituted for formal apprenticeship; five years experience with heavy construction and snow removal equipment; obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with inquires; US citizenship required; ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Preferred Requirements: Previous experience working on a military installation; pervious experience working in a remote location.
