Essential Functions include and are subjected for training: pickup and delivery of non ltl freight, loading and offloading bulk liquid and dry products, loading and securing equipment to flatbeds and lowboy, load/offload van/reefer, building/breaking sets, pre-trip/post-trip equipment, identify equipment defects and notify the shop, understand equipment function “blower/pto driven pump/loader/forklift, pallet jack, conveyor, and lift gates. Preferred: 3 plus years winter driving experience in tractor trailer; double/triples (T) endorsement, Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) certificate

Required: 23 years of age or older; read & speak English sufficiently to converse with public & comprehend DOT & OSHA regulations; no serious moving violation (excessive speeding over 15 mph) or DUI in the previous 5 years; tanker/chemical experience; valid AK Class A CDL with hazmat (X), current DOT medical card, TWIC card.A complete job description is available from the Anchorage dispatch office.
