Job Details | Job Summary: The incumbent is responsible for the repair, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing of commercial, industrial, and residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and refrigeration units. Essential Duties: Cut and bend tubing to current length and shape using cutting and bending equipment and tools; bend and form sheet metal for ductwork, grease pans; repair overhaul maintain, and service industrial and residential heating, ventilating, hydronic, and air conditioning systems and refrigeration units; troubleshoot and locate malfunctions, diagnose problems, and determine appropriate repairs; work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal and written instructions; respond to call-outs after normal hours as needed. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; capable of lifting up to 70lbs.; 5 years experience as an HVAC technician; current Universal EPA certification and CFC handling; valid AK drivers license with an acceptable driving record; ability to pass pre-employment drug screen; obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (NACI).
