| Job Details | Summary/General Description of Job: The incumbent performs general maintenance & repair of equipment & buildings requiring practical skill & knowledge (but not proficiency/journeyman level trades licenses) in such trades as painting, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, masonry and/or electrical work. The incumbent assists various journeyman level trades personnel & performs assigned work order & recurring maintenance tasks with minimal supervision. Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.; have a valid Alaska driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; obtain & maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (NACI); ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical & drug test; pass a Fire Brigade physical & remain an active member of the Fire Brigade.
