| Job Details | Automotive Mechanic will perform all needed maintenance and repairs on all fleet vehicles. The Mechanic is required to perform all other duties as required and needed. Experience working with Ford vehicles preferred. Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairsAssist and repair Drivers concerns on vehiclesAir Conditioning diagnosis and repairsTo perform electrical diagnosis andPerform diagnosis, service and repairs on heating and air conditioning systemsPerform fluid and filter changes on Engine, Transmission, Differential, Cooling system,Perform vehicle computer diagnostics, using computer scanners and digital volt ohm metersPerform major engine components diagnosis and replacement, i.e. cylinder head, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, ect.Write repair orders legibly with detailed repair information
 Requirements: Ford and/or GM experience a preferred. (light to medium duty vehicles)Must display initiative, professionalism, candor and tact at all timesMust be self-motivated and able to perform with minimal to no supervisionThis position is considered safety sensitiveASE Certified preferredMinimum three (3) to five (5) years verifiable hands-on shop experienceMust have own toolsAble to lift 70 piundsCan work varied schedule: days, evenings and/or weekends.
