Job DetailsFunction as a customer service ambassador for the People Mover system by providing safe, efficient & quality transportation service to customers. Transport customers by operating any type of revenue vehicle during regularly scheduled routes & special service routes while observing safety rules & regulation, State & Municipal laws, & route time schedules. Operate the fare collection equipment, mobile display computers & head signs. Ensure automatic stop announcement system is working or announce major stops & transfer points in the event of system malfunction to ensure customers are aware of stops along the routes. Assist persons with mobility devices as required & secure mobility devices in accordance with policy. Administer People Mover policy & procedure in special circumstances (e.g. service interruption & emergencies). Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or equivalent & one (1) yr. experience as a licensed motor vehicle operator. Applicant must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class B with an unrestricted passenger endorsement (P) and no air brake restriction. All applicants must be registered with the Union, show proof of CDL Class B or Class A with P (passenger) endorsement.
