Job Details | Summary/General Description of Job: Provides electrical engineering support in the design, construction, maintenance and troubleshooting of any and all facilities requirements. Leads and prepares design criteria documents, calculations, drawings and specifications for electrical systems including power distribution, standby power, lighting, communications, fire alarm, security and various other systems. Manages electrical design process and orchestrates the planning, design, cost estimating and phased scheduling for projects. Assesses feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering tests/products/equipment. Mandatory Job Requirements: ABET certified Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university program. Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Engineer or Requirements Engineer in the field of electrical engineering, with demonstrated experience in support of electrical substations, distribution, building feeds and services, systems controls, fire alarm systems, corrosion control, generators, security/intrusion detection and other systems for heavy industrial/large commercial facilities. Skill in the use of MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point at an intermediate level. Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret Level. Must possess a state driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required.
