Job DetailsJob Description: This position will require that the employee to work on site at King Salmon Alaska. Employees will live in a dormitory house environment. Meals are responsibility of individuals and available on the economy.

Key Role: Responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of backup power generation equipment; must be willing to become BAK-12 AAS task-certified Power Production Specialist and US Air Force certified to work on BAK-12 Aircraft Arresting System.

Essential Duties: Coordinates activates by scheduling work assignments setting priorities and directing work of subordinate employees; ensures periodic maintenance and exercising of all generators and generators assets to ensure continued reliability; check daily logs to determine proper operation of equipment; prepare daily, monthly, and annual reports of power plan operation, power usage, and cost.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; three (3) years’ experience in maintenance and power plant operations; valid state drivers license with an acceptable driving record; obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with inquiries; ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Preferred Requirements: Associate degree in Construction Management or related field; previous experience working on military installation; previous experience working in a remote location.
