||Duties and responsibilities: Responsible for providing superior service by engaging customers (internal and external) to ensure an exceptional experience. Primary function is to assist customers with the dispensing of Bulk Fuel from the customer pickup dock. This position is also responsible for loading and unloading of petroleum projects from tankers and trailers, the transfer of lubricants from drums and totes into various vessels for delivery or customer pickup. This position will also be delivering lubricants and fuels to commercial and industrial customers in Fairbanks, North Pole and surrounding areas in a safe and accurate manner.
Requirements: Must have current AK Drivers License and a 3 year clean driving records. Successful applicant is expected to work with management towards gaining a Class B CDL and ICC Medical Certificate. Driver is also expected to be able to safely operate various vehicles within or up to class B designations. Must have experience with the handling and transportation of petroleum products and hazardous materials. Must be prepared to work in adverse weather conditions including extreme temperatures. Must be able to work with the public in a professional, friendly, courteous manner. Previous freight delivery and warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with State and Federal trucking regulations is a plus. Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening will be required, along with ability to pass an ICC physical.
