Duties: Operate a residential refuse collection vehicle along an assigned route, loading residential waste into a receiving hopper by automation, or by manually lifting refuse containers, bags and loose waste. Empty the waste from the collection vehicle at a receiving station when fully loaded. Accurate and completely report vehicle conditions, required repair work and operational information on daily activity sheets. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma, GED or equivalent & one year experience in the operation of refuse collection equipment. Must possess a valid AK Class B CDL with no air brake restriction is required by the time of hire.
